Welcoming Jessica Kaqorri to the Beyond Carbon team

We’re delighted to announce the arrival of Jessica Kaqorri to the Beyond Carbon team. Jess joins us as a Senior Passivhaus Consultant, having spent the past several years in sustainability consultancy specialising in Passivhaus, building performance and building physics.

We’re excited to have a new team member, so here’s some more on her background and skills, and why she chose to join the Beyond Carbon team.

As a Certified Passivhaus Consultant and AECB Certifier, Jess’s experience spans energy and carbon modelling, PHPP, thermal bridge analysis and decarbonisation projects. She has worked on a diverse range of residential, commercial and heritage developments, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, clients and multidisciplinary design teams, with a key focus on translating building performance and sustainability ambitions into practical, evidence-based design solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

Jess strengthens the team with her combination of technical expertise, curiosity and a collaborative approach. She enjoys solving complex building performance challenges, and equally values building strong relationships across project teams to ensure sustainability is embedded in practical, deliverable design solutions. She’s a strong believer that the best outcomes come from open communication, shared knowledge and a supportive team culture where people work together to solve complex challenges.

Jess is looking forward to helping shape projects from the earliest design stages, contributing to the continued growth of the team, and working with people who share a genuine commitment to raising standards across the built environment.

Here’s what Jess has to say about joining Beyond Carbon:

“Beyond Carbon stood out to me for its commitment to Passivhaus, building performance, and delivering practical, measurable reductions in energy and carbon. More than that, it was the values behind the business that really set it apart. Throughout every conversation, it was clear that sustainability isn't simply a service Beyond Carbon provides, it's embedded in the way the team works and the decisions they make every day, from the projects they choose to take on to the culture they've built internally. That authenticity really resonated with me.”

We’re delighted Jess has joined the team, and we’re looking forward to the exciting work ahead.
